SENIOR INSTRUMENTATION/AUTOMATION ENGINEER
We have current and continuing opportunities for Senior Instrumentation-Automation Engineers to lead project teams on large projects and execute small projects in both office and operating plant environments. This is a professional-level position requiring a BS/MS or similar and 10+ years of relevant experience on chemical, heavy industrial, food, pharmaceutical, and power projects.
Certifications as a Registered Professional Engineer and IEEE Automation Professional are highly desired.
Candidates will have balanced experience with visual monitoring, inspection, guidance, and control systems; motor controls, VFD’s, motion controls; robotics; low voltage power for communications; process instruments and controls, detailed design experience for electrical panels; control cabinets, wiring, cable tray, conduits, fiber optics, and associated electrical instrumentation.
Controls and automation experience must include evaluation, selection, specifications, and programming of control system architecture for distributed control systems and standalone programmable logic control systems. Candidate must be able to interpret and prepare detailed P&IDs, functional descriptions, instrument lists, process and control descriptions, and logic for process equipment and processing plants.
Demonstrated project management skills will include estimating, scheduling, and preparation of bid documents, contract management, construction management, commissioning, and cost control.
Recent experience must include extensive detailed programming and troubleshooting of existing systems. Work will include controls and automation system upgrades and expansions along with technology migration to established and future standards in development. Experience with advanced control/analysis using linked multi-variable trending and decision analysis is expected.
The ideal candidate will be licensed as a professional engineer and possess a broad network of potential colleagues and clients and have a demonstrated capability of managing a controls systems group within a multidiscipline professional consulting firm.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER
We have current and continuing opportunities for Mechanical Engineers, Designers, and Detailers experienced in project management, design, and detailing of custom-engineered machinery, equipment, modular equipment systems, packaged equipment skids, and industrial manufacturing plants.

Engineering work will include the preparation of calculations and FEA of components to demonstrate compliance with applicable codes and best practices.
Design work will include detailed 3D modeling using AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks latest platforms. Detail drawings prepared from modeling will include dimensioning, tolerances, notes, and bill of materials.
Candidates should have 5 or more years of experience in layout and design, and at least two years of experience in preparing and checking detailed fabrication drawings and bill of materials.
ELECTRICAL DESIGNERS-DRAFTERS
We have current and continuing opportunities for design professionals. Electrical, and Instrumentation/Control Designers and Drafters experienced in the detailed design of custom-engineered equipment, modular equipment systems, and industrial manufacturing plants.
- Applicants must have demonstrated experience and current practice in solid modeling and designing/detailing with 3D AutoCAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, and AutoCAD MEP software.
- Must have extensive detailing experience for equipment skids and packaged equipment, interconnection and wiring diagrams, cable and conduit selection, selection and detailing of instruments, controls, electrical cabinets, and other miscellaneous electrical, monitoring, and communication devices.
- Must be able to generate detailed 3D documents, and independently check the production work of others to established standards and the applicable design and fabrication codes.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience in designing, detailing, and fabricating equipment for industrial, food, beverage, and chemical manufacturing facilities.
